An additional service bus has been put on to assist students travelling from Maltby/Braithwell to Sir Thomas Wharton Academy in a morning: First 10.  This bus departs Hellaby at 7:55am; Maltby at 8:00am; Braithwell at 8:05am, arriving at Edlington at 8:10am.

We have received the following information from South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority Executive (SYMCA): 

The service 552 will be provided by Stagecoach and the service 410 will be provided by Cawthorne's from September 2022. 

The service 415 has been cancelled by First from September 2022 and students will need to catch the alternative service 15 from stops near to the Academy. 

The service 18 has been cancelled by Powell's but SYMCA will provide replacement journeys until the end of September and then journeys on the service 10 from October 2022. 

School bus information for September 2022 will be available for parents and pupils at https://travelsouthyorkshire.com/en-GB/LandingPage/school-buses as soon as these have been finalised with operators.  This is likely to be late July and early August but will be updated regularly. 

The Academy has a wide catchment area, so many our students travel several miles. The Academy bus operators are Stagecoach Bus Company, Cawthorne's, and First Group Doncaster.
