At Sir Thomas Wharton Academy, we are very keen to support and encourage students to become
independent, creative and curious learners, who are able to lead and direct their own learning. To
support the students in developing these skills, we  organised for our Year 7 high ability students
to take part in an Aspire Project. This enabled them to direct their own learning on a project of their
own choice.

Students chose a project, developed it and displayed it in the Academy.
